Manzoni is a hill in LaMorra.Ferrero has 2 and one-half acres on Manzoni. Ferrero makes only 2,700 bottles per year. 2004 was a very good Classic year. The wine is very well balanced. Manzoni was aged in Barrique, a 59 gallon French Barrel.Always 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Manzoni vineyard. This is a big powerful wine that will aged for decades. Gattera is a hill in LaMorra. Ferrero has a vineyard on Gattera and they produce 8,000 bottles per year. The Gattera Barolo is traditional made, in large oak casks to give it light oak and showcase the Nebbiolo grape. 2004 was a classic year and the Barolo 2004 is ready to drink. This wine is excellent!
