Syrah 2005 Crane Vineyards
Syrah Crane Vineyards
Crane Vineyards is on the northern border of the Carneros Appellation. Hot days, cool nights and long hang time define this district.

Crane Syrah from the first vintage in 1999 was a winner. Since then, the quality of the wines produced from this vineyard have only gotten better. The 2005 is no exception.

Dark color, full and ripe fruit and an acidity that is almost viscous in it texture are hallmarks of this great wine. Classic Sonoma Valley Syrah at its best.

Matches well with traditional fare: grilled or braised lamb, rare duck breast over an open fire, grilled eggplant or winter vegetables.

Vignali Roccamora 'Carlo Alfano' Nero d'Avola - Merlot 750ML 2007
This excellent wine is a mix between 50% Nero d'Avola - 50% Merlot and makes a great match. The natural characteristics are intense red color with a violet nuance. It offers an exuberant panorma of aromas ranging from ripe morello charries and ribes, sweet spices, delicate vegetal nuances verging to china and tobacco smells. Warm and involving taste with a well balance tannin component. Perfectly pair with pasta with meat–sauce, red wine-braised beef, excellent on a "sicilian style" swordfish slice.

"Vignali Roccamora" in Agrigento, a company boasting 28 hectares of vineyards and 3 hectares of olive trees, is the result of a collaboration between our owner Gian Andrea Tinazzi and Gaetano Alfano, the cultivator from Agrigento. The objective of this young wine-growing concern is to produce traditional high quality Sicilian wines.
